at the beginning of the movie, a man named Vic  Van Allen as shown coming home from his cycling routine. on the stairs, his wife, named Melinda,  appears to be sitting waiting with a smile. without  saying a word, Melinda then goes into her room. The  next scene takes us to a few days earlier, when Vic and Melinda were looking for a babysitter for  their daughter named Trixie. They do this because on that day, Vic and Melinda will be attending a party at the home of one of their best friends.  

After that, Melinda called Vic into the room to  ask for his help in choosing a suitable dress for that party event. Not only that, the spoiled  Melinda even asked Vic to help put on her shoes. When Vic and Melinda arrived at the lively party,  Melinda actually left her husband. she approached  

a young man named Joel Nash whom she referred to  as her close friend. Without hesitation, Melinda and Joel immediately leave the party to make the  most of their moment together in the backyard.  

Vic, who saw his wife leaving with another man,  was seen just standing still and following them without reacting. It seemed as if Vic  didn't care about his wife's Behavior,  

even though he was actually in a window  watching Melinda and Joel making love in the back seat of the house. The behavior  of this married couple was very unusual.  

Melinda without any shame or fear showed her  intimacy with another man in front of Vic. To make matters worse, Melinda even openly showed her affection in front of the guests at the party. She even mocked her own husband by saying that Vic was a boring man when they passed each other. This inappropriate behavior attracted attention and provoked reactions from people, including their

friend named Mary. Mary then asked Vic about the identity of the man who was with Melinda. However, Vic seemed to respond casually, while responding that the man was just Melinda's friend.

Shortly after, a friend of theirs named Grant came to see Vic and told him that Melinda was drunk on top of the piano. However, Vic couldn't help but sigh, seeing his wife's drunken behavior and being in the spotlight of everyone at the party. Melinda then began to play the piano while singing in the center of the room, and received a rousing reception from the invited guests. In the middle of the event, Vic finally approached Joel, the man who became his wife's affair. On this occasion, Joel thanked Vic for allowing him to have a close relationship with Melinda. Although he didn't show any jealousy, Vic started telling stories and reminded Joel that Melinda had also previously

dated a man named Martin. However, all of a sudden, Martin suddenly disappeared and has never been seen again since one month ago because Vic claimed to have killed him. Seeing the frightened look on Joel's face, Vic then clarifies that what he said was just a joke. However, Joel seems to take it

seriously and believes that Vic really has killed Martin. Joel also left the party after previously saying goodbye to Melinda. Seeing Joel's confused and scared look, Melinda immediately asked Vic questions after the party ended. She wanted to know what Vic had said to her affair man, so that Joel suddenly wanted to leave. Vic lies and replies that he didn't say anything to Joel. After returning home, Vic went to the room where he kept and farmed snails. There, he watched the snails reproduce, as a way to refresh his mind from all the problems that were facing him. The next morning, when Vic was with his daughter in the kitchen to make an  experiment, Melinda suddenly said that one day

their daughter would become a bomb maker like her father. However, this remark was immediately denied

by Trixie who said that her father was not a bomb maker, but only a chip maker for military drones.

It should be known that Vic used to work as a maker of chips that are fitted into military drones. However, because he felt that his finances were already sufficient, Vic finally decided to retire and focus more on activities such as cycling and partying with his friends. Then, as Vic was heading home after dropping his daughter off at school, he met one of his friends who called him a "murderer". It was revealed that the news of the conversation between Vic and Joel some time ago has spread widely in the community. In fact, his close friends also began to question Vic about the truth of the news. One of them was Grant, who told Vic that it was better for him to reprimand and control his own wife than to threaten Joel with dangerous jokes.

Meanwhile, after returning home, news about the prank made by Vic finally reached Melinda's ears.

This made Melinda angry with Vic. She said that it was inappropriate for Vic to make jokes or threaten Joel about Martin's disappearance. Melinda also plans to invite Joel to dinner at their house and force Vic to apologize to Joel for his previous words and attitude. Long story short, Joel came to fulfill Melinda's invitation. When the meal arrives, the atmosphere becomes awkward as

Vic and Melinda start insinuating things to each other. Melinda says that Vic should have behaved more normally towards Joel. However, Vic immediately denies by saying that if Melinda really wanted to see him behave normally, then she would never allow Joel to approach them and join the dinner together. Their conversation became even more heated. Finally, Melinda told their daughter to go to bed and asked Vic to tell her a storybook until Trixie fell asleep. This was done by Melinda so  

that her time with Joel would not be disturbed by Vic. Moments after putting Trixie to bed, Vic saw Melinda making out with Joel downstairs, and his face clearly looked unhappy with their behavior.

Then, when Joel was alone, Vic approached him and apologized for the joke he had made before. However, after delivering the apology, Vic goes back to telling the story about how he cruelly killed Martin, by hitting him over the head using a hammer until he died. After making a

warning joke to Joel once again, Vic asks Joel to leave his house immediately before he loses his

temper and does the same thing to Joel as he did to Martin last month. One day, Vic and his family are invited to a very lively party. There, Vic met a writer named Don Wilson, who was also an author of novels about conspiracy theories. As they were talking to get to know each other, it appeared that Don began to dislike Vic because Vic had previously been known as a bomb maker. In fact, Don accused Vic of being the one who had eliminated and killed Martin. In fact, everyone present at the event knew that the issue was just a joke made by Vic, solely to scare Joel some time ago.

When the dance session started, Vic also met a woman named Kelly Wilson, who is none other than Don Wilson's wife. Since their introduction seemed to be a good fit, Vic took Kelly for a dance, which made everyone present at the party surprised. The reason is, they all know Vic as a man who tends to

be stiff and lacks socialization. Then on the way  home, Vic expressed his interest in Kelly. because  according to him, Kelly is a beautiful woman and  comfortable to chat with. the phrase Vic finally triggered Melinda's jealousy, because she felt very rivaled by Kelly. Melinda then wanted to prove to Vic that she was the woman who was still the best and most attractive in Vic's life. she began to fondle her husband's body, down to his lower part, making Vic moan. after proving that, Melinda sat

back and said that she would be willing to die in the car, rather than hearing her husband's words about Kelly Wilson who was more attractive than her. even though both of them looked so upset, this strange married couple continued their love making in the room with great ferocity. The next day, Vic is seen with Melinda who was accompanying Trixie to a soccer match. However, shortly after, Vic's cell phone received a call from a bank employee. The person informed Vic that his wife had made a money

transfer of 3000 dollars to a man named Charles. According to information from the bank, the money was sent by Melinda in the form of a  check to pay for private piano lessons to Charles.  

After learning about this, Vic immediately went  to his office to find out and reveal the true identity of the man named Charles. After some time passed and managed to get information about Charles, Vic decided to go to a restaurant where Charles worked as a pianist. However, a surprise awaits Vic there when he sees Melinda also arriving with the intention of watching Charles' performance and possibly meeting him seeing the  situation, Vic begins to assume that Charles might be his wife's new affair. Then after returning  home, Vic was shocked to find their wedding rings  

lying in the sink which Melinda had apparently  removed. It was then, by chance, that he watched a news program on television about the case of Martin who was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head. With a heavy heart, Vic broke the news to Melinda who was still in a drunken stupor.

Hearing the sad news, Melinda was shocked to learn that her favorite mistress was gone forever.

Then the next morning, Vic gave Trixie a dog to adopt at her house. then on the way home, Vic accidentally saw Charles carrying a bunch of flowers that he seemed to want to give to Melinda. it was true, when Vic arrived home, he saw the flowers Charles had brought earlier

on their dining table. it also made Vic very  annoyed and then threw the flowers in the trash.  

After that, Vic meets with a friend of his. Then there he reveals that he is currently still holding on to Melinda, even though his heart is very hurt. in contrast to Melinda, she is actually

seen making out with Charles in the car. they made out passionately with each other, as if without the slightest concern for her husband's feelings.  Then the next day at home, Vic was seen anxiously  a waiting the arrival of Melinda who had not  returned home all night. Vic deliberately leaves their child to one of his best friends feeling  that this time he might get angry at his wife for crossing the line. Not long after that, Melinda finally came home. Vic immediately asked Melinda where she had been last night and also about the money she had paid to someone named Charles. This

time, Vic's patience seemed to have run out. He lashed out with harsh words at Melinda, asking her to stop

meeting up with her new affair. However, it seemed like all of Vic's words were ignored by Melinda.

One day, Vic and Melinda were seen back at a party, where Charles was also in the party.

Without hesitation, Melinda introduced Charles to the guests and even asked him to play the piano.

Charles proved to have great skills in playing the piano, leading to excitement and dance at the party. However, it was different for Vic, who looked very upset while staring at Melinda.

The party continued until midnight, and Vic  kept tabs on his wife throughout the evening.  

Finally, he spotted Melinda coming out with Charles towards the pool. In front of the remaining guests, Melinda and Charles seemed to be enjoying their time intimately in the

pool, without any shame towards Vic who was watching them. Melinda seemed to have been captivated by Charles' popularity, and did not seem to be embarrassed at all by her behavior.

Not long after, the rain suddenly came down in torrents, forcing Melinda and the guests present

to scatter out of the pool. Only Vic and Charles were left in the midst of the rushing water.

When everyone had left the pool Vic slowly approached Charles with a hateful face.

Finally, in that deserted pool, Vic released his frustration by killing Charles. After ending Charles's life Vic rejoined the other guests to  continue their party that night. Meanwhile, in the pool, Charles' body began to float without them all noticing. after some time, Melinda tried to look for Charles in every room of the house, but she didn't find him. until finally, she went and looked

at the pool. suddenly she screamed hysterically seeing her affair's body had been floating.

Everyone immediately rushed out to help Charles, including Vic himself. They quickly helped lift Charles' body, which was already dead in the pool. However, due to the slippery floor, bad luck befell them again. Charles's body slipped in his head hit  the edge of the pool causing him to die instantly.  

The police soon arrived at the scene and started investigating the case. in the midst of the situation, Melinda unhesitatingly accused Vic of Charles' murder. However, other people's opinions differed. They argued that Charles died because he hit his head on the poolside.

While the debate was going on, Don had a different view. He suspected that Charles might have died while still in the pool. After a long debate and due to lack of sufficient evidence, the police finally decided that the incident was purely an accident, so the case of Charles's death was closed. 

A few days later, Vic was seen going about his usual routine, which included cycling. However, while on the road, he began to realize that there was someone always watching him from a distance.  

A similar incident occurred when Vic was at his daughter's school. There, Kelly comes up to Vic and tells him that her husband is beginning to suspect her of being Charles' killer. In fact, Don often invited Melinda to their house to discuss the matter. after hearing the story from Kelly, Vic  

decides to invite them both, Kelly and Don, to his house for dinner. However, Vic's real goal is to talk privately with Don about the reasons behind his suspicions of being Charles' killer.

After meeting, Vic immediately asked Don to stop suspecting him and stop spreading slander about

him. However, Don remained firm in his stance that Vic was Charles' killer that night, even though he began to feel afraid of Vic. The next day after dropping Trixie off at school, Vic saw a car that he had suspected was always following him, parked at a restaurant. When Vic took a closer look, he was surprised to see a camera installed in the car. Vic's conviction that the owner of that car

had indeed been watching him all this time grew stronger. Without hesitation, Vic decided to enter

the restaurant. In his heart, such great suspicion made it difficult for him to trust anyone.

However, when Vic was finally inside the restaurant, he was shocked. There, he saw Melinda sitting with a

man who turned out to be the owner of the car.  eventually, after getting to know the man, Vic began assuming that the man was not his wife's new affair. Instead, Vic suspected that the man was actually the one who had been following him all along. Although the man claims to be David and a psychologist who plans to open a new practice in the city, Vic remains suspicious that the man

is actually a private detective hired by Don and Melinda. After leaving the restaurant, Vic decided to go to Don's house with proof of the money transfer Melinda had made to Don's account.

When he arrived at Don's house, Vic emphatically revealed that Don had crossed the line by interfering in his domestic affairs, which made Kelly feel very embarrassed and angry with her husband. Afterwards, when Vic was about to return home, he again found Melinda with her new boyfriend. Unbeknownst to Melinda, Vic soon decides to follow them wherever they go.

At night, while Vic was bathing his daughter, Trixie innocently asked about Charles' death.

While smiling at her father, Trixie also said that she knew that her father had been the one to kill

Charles. Vic realized his daughter's innocent words, but instead told Trixie that she had to keep the matter a secret so that it would not be known by others. The next day, Vic invited Melinda's new boyfriend to his house. it turned out that the man was Melinda's former lover named Tony.

Melinda's behavior was getting worse and worse. she had even dared to tell Vic that she had slept with Tony. insolent again, that day they again repeated the depraved act in front of Vic without the slightest sense of guilt. Finally, on a sunny day, Vic steadily approaches Tony who is on foot. With confidence, Vic told him that Melinda was waiting for him at a house they were considering buying.

Without hesitation, Tony immediately believed Vic's words and immediately joined him to go to the place. Unexpectedly, however, Vic directs Tony to a forest near the river, where he often cycles.

Vic, who already knew every curve in the area, drove his car at full speed into the depths of the deserted forest. When they arrived near the end of the ravine, Vic stopped the car abruptly.

then after Tony got out of the car, Vic immediately threw a rock and hit Tony in the head. He then picked up a bigger rock and then threw it directly at Tony. until finally causing Tony to bounce down and fall into the ravine. then made his head hit a big rock and died instantly. realizing Tony was dead, Vic rushed to drag Tony's body to the riverbank. after taking his wallet, he then drowned Tony's body in the river with a big rock as a ballast. after killing Tony, Vic went back to his house as if nothing had happened. he even toasted with his daughter. The next day, Vic took his wife and child on a picnic to the same place where he killed Tony.

There for the first time, Vic was romantic to Melinda by giving her a gift in the form of an album of old photos of Melinda. and in the last sheet of the album, Vic wrote an expression of his love for Melinda which made their relationship look a little better.

Sometime later, when Vic was looking for Trixie on the riverbank, he saw Tony's body begin to float to the surface of the water. After that, Vic took his family home immediately. Unfortunately, Melinda left her favorite scarf behind. So, she wanted to go back to retrieve it. Vic then told Melinda that he would return alone to retrieve her favorite scarf.

After arriving home, Melinda went into Vic's snail pet room. there she was surprised because she found

Tony's wallet. Melinda immediately assumed that Vic might have killed Tony. realizing this, she then called and informed Don of her findings, and also informed him that Vic was heading to the forest.

Meanwhile, Vic is trying hard to hide Tony's body by drowning it, but his efforts keep failing Unfortunately, that's when Don suddenly appears with a scarf belonging to Melinda. Don, who begins to suspect Vic's activities in the place, tries to approach him. However, suddenly Tony's hand floating in the water made Don shocked and frightened, and he immediately ran. Don finally

saw for himself that Vic was a murderer, and he immediately reported the incident to the police.

Meanwhile, Vic realizes that his crime has been exposed, he tries to chase Don. However, Don had driven off in his car at high speed through the dense forest.

After racing to catch up with Don for a long time, Vic finally manages to cut off Don's lane which takes Don by surprise. Don then lost control and his car plunged into a ravine, causing his death.

After facing all the troubles and horrific events, Vic finally returns to his routine of riding his bike. When he arrived home, Melinda greeted Vic with a smile, then left without saying a word to her husband. Inside the house, Melinda burns two pictures of Tony, and the movie ends.
