 The desires are no longer desires.

*** ঠিক আমার মতো............

ইচ্ছেগুলো আর ইচ্ছে নেই। 

শাসানি শুনে ফুঁপিয়ে কেঁদে এখন শান্ত। 

অন্ধকারে বেশ ভালোই থাকে। 

স্বপ্নগুলো এক্কেবারে জীবন্ত লাশ,

যেন লজ্জা লাগেনা, আর কোনো ভাবেই। 

যন্ত্রনাগুলো সেই দুমড়ে যাওয়া কৌটো,

যা আর সোজা হবেনা কোনদিন। শুধু দাগ! 

বিয়াল্লিশ -তেতাল্লিশ সংখ্যা সবই ভুলের খাতায়! 

এক এক সময় ভাবি! আমার . . . 

আমার কি মানুষ হওয়ার কথা ছিলো? 

নাকি, সেখানেও সমঝোতা ছিলো বুঝি! 

খুশি গুলো কামড়ে, আদর করে যে

ছিঁড়ে খাবো এমন ধারালো সময় নেই আর। 

ঘুম থেকে ডেকে নিয়ে যায় পেটের দায়। 

জামার বোতাম ছিঁড়ে চলে যায় অন্যের পকেটে। 

লড়াই গুলো জুতোর পেরেকে শুয়ে শুয়ে 

ছাপোশা হয়েছে আজকাল। বাঁচার অসুখে - 

আয়নার মতো এখনও ভেঙ্গে যাবো বহুবার। 

ল্যাংটো দেখাবে সমস্ত শরীর, মন, চরিত্র। 

আবদার গুলো দিব্যি চোখের ওপর

জীবন্ত হয়েও কথা বলবে না।
